We got an assignment to design the Light Gallery for Tampere Festival of Light in 2018. Baseline for the design was to design every figure in a way that fits the building it’s projected on. Influences for the idea of the figure may have come from the building or the environment. Architecture of the building might have been suitable for certain kind of figure or the figure itself is used to give a little extra for the architecture. Light Gallery is meant to bring light, experiences and little fun for people spending their time in the city at night time.
