Streetart underpass, Finland

Working with City of Tampere and A-Clinic Foundation we participated in a project delivering a rapid transformation in urban space, with the project finished in 90 days from the first site visit. The graffiti artists painting the murals were recovering drug addicts working in collaboration with local artist, and the project managed to transform a grey pedestrian underpass into an outstanding gallery for modern street art. The tunnel is lit by LED linear fixtures that are protected in a vandalism-proof concrete channels. The installation is a very budget friendly solution but delivers a stunning display of streetart and light to all who use the underpass.
